Here we have an X1/9 that we believe was built in period from a Dallara kit and raced successfully on circuits and hillclimbs. This X1/9 has been out of commission.

The Fiat X1/9 is a two-seater mid-engined sports car designed by Bertone and manufactured by Fiat from 1972-1982 and subsequently by Gruppo Bertone from 1982-1989.. With a transverse engine and gearbox in a mid-mounted, rear-wheel drive configuration, the X1/9 was noted for its balanced handling, retractable headlights, lightweight removable hardtop which could be stowed under the bonnet.

Flixton, Manchester. Mar 14, 2007. #3. I have moulds for a single piece front end (actually 4 parts that bolt or bond together). Can be provided with or without a coloured gel-coat. I would still suggest painting the panels but having a coloured gel-coat means stone-chips are much less obvious. Still working on the rear end panels.
